Shitieshou Demons are special NPCs in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. A Shitieshou is a demon that poses no threat to humans. Its sole interest is in consuming various metals. It will reward any who offer it items to consume with small trinkets. Remember to give it your spare items when you can.
When you select an item from your inventory menu and drop it, the Shitieshou will eat it.
Shitieshou Demon Description in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
- Finding and interacting your first Shitieshou Demon yields the How Cute! Achievement.
- Finding and feeding all Shitieshou Demons yields the How Precious! Achievement.
- Your first encounter of the Shitieshou Demon is during the Main Mission: The Valley of the Crying Wraiths
- Once you find and feed a Shitieshou Demon, they move to the Hidden Village.
- If you repeat a mission where you've already found and fed a Shitieshou Demon, you can still find them at the same spot.
- Drop a Weapon, Armor, or metal upgrade materials and the friendly demon will eat it.
- By offering items the friendly demon will give you 1 Accessory item in return.
- The accessory that you obtain is random, however its rarity will match the given item's rarity.
- There are 12 Shitieshou Demons in Main Missions.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Shitieshou Lore
Shitieshou, a term that literally means "iron chewer," is a type of demon that consumes metals and is covered in black and white fur.
One theory suggests that the origins of the name first came from pandas, which were known as "bamboo—consuming beasts." As time passed, this was modified to "arrow-consuming," then to "iron-consuming." In the ancient passages of the Erya, it was thought that the mythical beasts called Mo consumed metals. Due to these creatures sharing similar physical attributes to pandas and tapirs, it is speculated that the details of Shitieshou and Mo were intermixed with each other. Shitieshou are also described as a type of creature that consumes metals in the wilderness section of the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

Shitieshou Demons are quite hard to find since you'll normally see them sitting on the ground and are usually located at unusual spots, so when you are starting a new mission, make sure to check every corner and every section before you proceed to the objective. The Valley of the Crying Wraiths
- Shitieshou Demon: From the Sixth Battle Flag, head down the slope on the right, around the corner, you'll find a small campsite where you'll see the friendly demon.
The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven
- Shitieshou Demon: Located inside a house in a dilapidated village near the Third Battle Flag (temple). Check the house by the corner in the east section of the village. The friendly demon is inside the house.
Part III Main Missions`
In Search of the Immortal Wizard
- Shitieshou Demon: Found on top of the staircase going up right next to the fourth Battle Flag.
Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch
- Shitieshou: From the seventh Battle Flag, head into the southeastern corner of the courtyard. Cross the zig zag bridge and climb up the wooden platforms leading to the nearby roof. Round the corner is the Shitieshou
Part IV Main Missions
The Battle of Hulaoguan Pass
- Shitieshou Demon: Found in the first floor of one of the towers on top of the final fortress walls. This Shitieshou Demon is located in the floor below the Battle Flag on the upper level of the tower before ascending the ladder.
Centuries of Glory Burned Away
- Shitieshou Demon: Located at a corner past the first encountered Battle Flag at the crossroads. This is the road opposite of the first Marking Flags.
Darkness Over the Hanshui River
- Shitieshou Demon: Loocated in front of the fourth Battle Flag inside a broken-down house.
Tyrant's Final Banquet
- Shitieshou Demon: Just to the left of the Third Battle Flag up the platform.
Part V Main Missions
War's Flames Blaze Fiercely
- Shitieshou Demon: From the Third Battle Flag location, turn left at the first corner, then turn right. You will see the first Shitieshou Demon just beside an enemy.
The Way of the Warrior
- Shitieshou Demon: Can be found nearby the third Battle Flag, on the left side beside a hut.
Lu Bu, Mightiest Among Men
- Shitieshou Demon: Found in the large pagoda, sitting on a platform attached to the back of the giant statue. Accessible after climbing to the pagoda's third floor.
Part VI Main Missions
Behold the Glaive of Righteousness
- Shitieshou Demon: Once you're at the rooftop at the Baima Gatehouse Building, take a peek through the hole and see where the broken platforms. Do not drop down directly where the Demonized Warlock is, drop down the broken platforms first to get to the Shitieshou Demon.
Decisive Battle of Guandun
- Shitieshou Demon: After the battle against Yuan Shao, exit the temple, head straight and you'll find the Sixth Battle Flag next to Hong Jing. After raising the battle flag and making further preparation, from the battle flag, walk to the left and drop below to the ground. Here, you'll find a Shitieshou Demon, a chest containing x3 Rank 9 Steel, and a Golden Cicada Shell. You won't miss it since it's next to each other.

- Shitieshou Demon: Found in a hut within a village past the Third Battle Flag. When you get to the village, head towards the first set of stairs in front of you. Before climbing up, go up the alley on the right to reach the backyard of a hut. The Shitieshou can be found within.

- Shitieshou Demon: Found past the barricades in the first part of the battlefield, before reaching Zhang Yan's arena. After crossing the barricades, look to the right, and you'll find it behind the scaffolding in the alcove.
Part III Sub Missions
Shadow of the Secret Mountain
- Shitieshou Demon: After raising the second Battle Flag guarded by a Chang Gui and two Huo Shu, go down the stairs and you'll see a small wooden alcove on your left where you'll find the Shitieshou Demon.
Escape from the Capital
- Shitieshou Demon: Enter the first building available on your way to your objective marker location and it will be in the middle of the second floor platform that breaks off.

- Shitieshou Demon: When entering the hallway guarded by the Leishi, turn around to find the Shitieshou on the right.
Let's Make Our Armor Shine!
- Shitieshou Demon: after defeating the demon mermaid, Shuigui, and the crocodile demon, Zhupolong, climb up the nearby ladder, head towards the dock area, go straight, climb up the ladder, look to your right, and climb up another ladder. Jump up to reach the higher deck where you'll find a small cabin. The demon is inside.

Heirloom Seal of the Realm
- Shitieshou Demon: near the first marking flag at the end of the marketplace area. Jump on the roof where you encountered the two Demon Warlock enemies, you'll see a hole in the wall of a house. Follow the path to reach the other side of the marketplace. When you jump down, go straight and then turn left.

AnonymousYou always get 5 star drops. If u feed it at last 51 of those Jewel Fragments. But mostly accessories. I tired up until 1000 fragments too but it doesn’t seem to affect the item category. It work before NG + too. So doesn’t matter where and when. Give them 50

it's annoying not being able to keep track of whether all bears were fed from the level select screen. Nor does the relevant NPC ever give you any hints about remaining bears.
There's little minor "anti-QOL" issues like this throughout Wo Long. Hopefully they'll be remedied in a later patch like what happened with Nioh.

And I also noticed dropping specific armours and weapons will drop you back specific accessory types. My eg. dropping a 4 star nameless garb +8 always seems to drop an imperial seal accessory. Suggests specific item drop lists.

Good area to farm is in search of the immortal wizard. Rest at the flag before the demon then drop, don't like your item return to title screen then continue. Reloads same flag with fresh panda

No idea which ones I've found and which ones I've missed. Will have to re-visit all levels where they are to track them all down. Same deal for the golden cicada shells.
I noticed if you feed them with 9 Jewel Fragments, they will ALWAYS give you a 4 star accessory, and a 5 star one in NG+

In one of the last submisions I give accesorie rare 4 and I recived a rare 5, to take in consideration.

They can be interacted with again if you reload the mission.

The info is wrong. They eat anything even accessories and give you an accessories with the same rarity back.
So drop a 4 star and get a 4 star back.

would be great if someone could add that you can only feed it 1 item before it goes to sleep, I decided to give it a 1star item to test the waters and I can't tell if this lil guy will be awake on repeat plays of a mission
