Mission Start Text

"From ancient times, the thunder god has been said to dwell by a body of water known as the Leize Lake. The disruption to the flow of Qi caused by Demonic Qi from the Elixir has sent the already wild thunder god into a violent rage.

The terrified people of Puyang say a giant shadow appears along with an ear-splitting crack of thunder. Head out and investigate this matter in their stead."

• First Battle Flag: Can be found on your right just as you spawn in the location. Does not provide any additional Fortitude.

Legend of the Thunder God Walkthrough

First Battle Flag & Boss Fight: Leishi

Once you spawn in the area, you will immediately find the first and only Battle Flag for this mission on your right. It is already raised so it will not provide you any additional Fortitude.

Go down straight ahead and Leishi will appear. For this boss fight, you can immediately initiate an attack once he summons to the battlefield, he will attack you after the summon animation so don't overextend your combos. His attacks are fairly slow and easily dodge or countered. He wields a giant mallet as his weapon and doesn't cover much range. You don't really have to keep your distance for this fight, just anticipate his attack, all his moves are telegraphed as he will always raise or wind up his mallet before attacking. You can spam combos and to easily break his guard and deal a fatal strike, this will deal significant damage. He has move where he slams his mallet toward you three times, you can doge through each attack or reposition yourself and try to attack during the recovery animation. This is his fastest move which is still slow compared to other bosses, so you won't really have a hard time beating this boss if you've reached the recommended level for this sub mission.

Shortly after defeating Leishi, the mission is completed. First time completion will also reward the following:

• x3 Anti-static Needle
• x2 Elixir
• x3 Rank 8 Steel
• x1 Lieutenant-General Helmet
