Pride of the Yuan Clan

Pride of the Yuan Clan is a Sub Mission in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. This mission is recommended for level 99. Pride of the Yuan Clan tasks players with duelling the spirit of Yuan Shao. Please see Missions for other walkthroughs on other missions. Sub Missions are secondary quests that are not mandatory for completing the game but can yield important rewards as well as expand the lore and story of the game and its characters.

Mission Start Text

The anguish of becoming consumed by the Elixir and being defeated at the hands of Cao Cao was so great that now Yuan Shao's spirit wanders Guandu.

Stand against this powerful villain with full force in hopes that his lamenting spirit will rest peacefully once and for all.

Pride of the Yuan Clan Walkthrough

Before the Battle

You will enter the battlefield with 20 Fortitude and the first and only Battle Flag can be found behind you and to your left. This is a short mission consisting only of a duel against Yuan Shao. Prepare and buff yourself, then when you're ready, walk towards him to begin the fight.

Boss: Yuan Shao

Like in Decisive Battle of Guandu, Yuan Shao fights in his demon form for this fight. Approach him, and he instantly transforms, spawning in with 20 Morale. The boss fight it more or less them same as last time, avoid his opening ice attack when the fight starts, and be sure to counterattack his Fatal Strikes when he glows red. After the fight is over, speak to him to receive the upgrade for the Divine Beast, Xuanwu. Continue speaking with him, and the quest will end, rewarding you with the Golden Staff of King Yufu, Spear of the Hegemon-King, and set pieces for the Wuhuan Cavalry Set.
