Mission Start Text

"The Yellow Turbans that had taken over Mt. Dongshan were defeated. However, according to Huangfu Song, the general sent by the Imperial Court, the remnants have assembled under a new commander and continue to plague Mt. Dongshan.

Huangfu Song has a strategy to remedy the problem. Helping him implement that plan will surely be appreciated."

The Yellow Heaven Burns Battle Flag Locations

There are 2 Battle Flags to be found in The Yellow Heaven Burns:

• First Battle Flag: At the start of the mission, near Huangfu Song. It is activated from the start. 
• Second Battle Flag: In the open area, past the two houses, guarded by a few enemies. (+3 Fortitude)

The Yellow Heaven Burns Marking Flag Locations

There are 7 Battle Flags to be found in The Yellow Heaven Burns:

• First Marking Flag: At the top of the first house you find, at the start of the level. (+1 Fortitude)
• Second Marking Flag: Inside a small room in the first house you find, beware of the enemies. (+1 Fortitude)
• Third Marking Flag: At the back of a house, you will notice the glow coming from the door while you are inside the house.  (+1 Fortitude)
• Fourth Marking Flag: At the top of a house, guarded by an archer. (+1 Fortitude)
• Fifth Marking Flag: On the side of the wooden platforms that connect to one of the houses (+1 Fortitude)
• Sixth Marking Flag: Guarded by a Chang Gui  (+1 Fortitude)
• Seventh Marking Flag: In the caves, near the area where you fight Bo Cai. (+1 Fortitude)

 

The Yellow Heaven Burns Walkthrough

First Battle Flag

As you begin the mission, Huangfu Song will be found on your right, you can talk to him to learn about the situation. There is also the first battle flag, just ahead of you, impossible to miss.

Just as you move forward, you will find your first enemy. Defeat him and turn right to face a house, there is an archer inside of it, on the upper level. Before entering, border it to find an item on its left. Beware of the yellow turban bandit patrolling the makeshift wooden platforms.

From the item's location, you will see two more bandits and a dog guarding a chest. Defeat them to loot it. Be aware of the archer on a tower-like wooden platform. You have to do some platforming to reach him.

First Marking Flag

If you climb the wooden platforms, you can surprise the archer inside the house. Keep climbing to find yet another yellow turban bandit, and the first Marking Flag, at the top of the house. Activate it to receive +1 Fortitude. 

Drop down on the other side of the roof to find Rank 1 Leather. Head inside the house. There is another Rank 1 Leather inside.

Second Marking Flag

You can enter the small room on the left to find the second marking Flag. There are a few Enemies inside, and given the small area, it may be difficult to face them there. Cast any AOE you have to surprise them or draw them out of there. Activate it to receive +1 Fortitude.

Exit the house, and you can find the next house guarded by an archer on the roof and another bandit inside.  You will notice a glow behind the door.

Third Marking Flag

You will find another marking flag on the back of the house. Leave the house and turn around to access the small passageway, to find the flag really close to the door. Activate it to receive +1 fortitude.

There is Rank 1 Steel on the wooden platform to the left of the house's entrance. Defeat the enemies to find a chest inside. 

Fourth Marking Flag

Climb up to the roof to find the fourth marking flag. Activate it to receive +1 Fortitude.

Fifth Marking Flag

Use the wooden platforms, and take the first turn to the left available on it to find the Fifth Marking Flag. Activate it to receive +1 Fortitude. Look down from there, and you will see a more open area. There are a few enemies there.

Second Battle Flag

Reach the area below the previous marking flag and defeat the enemies. You will find the second Battle Flag there. Activate it to receive +3 Fortitude. Fight the archer on the upper level, and loot another Rank 1 Steel behind him.

Sixth Marking Flag

Continue there through the narrow passageway, you will find a Chang Gui. Defeat it, and activate the Marking Flag beside it to receive +1 Fortitude.

Loot the chest in the area, to obtain x1 Dragon Vein Essence, a Rank 1 Leather and x2 Fire Pot.

Turn back to find a small gap near the grates. Loot Rank 1 Steel. Access the gap to battle some dogs and an archer. 

Seventh Marking Flag

Access the cave like area. Among the crates, you can find Rank 1 Steel. Stick to the left to find the sixth marking flag. Activate it to receive +1 Fortitude. 

Miniboss: Bo Cai

Turn back and drop to the area below. You will find Bo Cai, a miniboss, and two more enemies. Once you defeat him, the mission will be completed.
