Soldier is an Enemy in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Soldier is a low-rank human combatant sworn to protect his leader's cause with his own life. Enemies have their own behavior and unique attack patterns, killing them provides players with various drops that reward such as Copper or consumable Items, as well as some varying Equipment pieces and Genuine Qi, which is used to level up.

All Enemies in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty have a random drop, meaning that they don't drop always the same items. 

Soldier Notes & Tips

• Appears in 2 variations: melee or ranged.
• Ranged one uses bow and attacks on distance - when approached, switches to Curved Sabre
• Melee one uses one of these weapons, either in combo or Martial Art:
  • Curved Sabre
  • Spear
  • Stave
  • Sword
• In Battle of Zhongyuan expansion and on NG++ appears another variation of soldier. This one use Shield with Curved Sabre as second weapon:
  • With shield, he will block all front non-elemental damage and retaliate with a shield bash
  • He may throw several Firebombs 
  • Best option is to either use elemental-related attacks or Martial Arts (since they ignore guard)
• Outside shield variation, highly susceptible to any sort of deflection, as counter of any hit will makes them flinch. In case of Martial Art, deflection puts them in state that allows to finish one with a Fatal Strike.
