Enemies have their own behavior and unique attack patterns, killing them provides players with various drops that reward such as Copper or consumable Items, as well as some varying Equipment pieces and Genuine Qi, which is used to level up.

Demonized Officers are former humans that have been turned into demons.

They have been transformed as a result of excessive consumption of Elixir or being under the influence of powerful Demonic Qi. While they have been reduced to creatures of subhuman intellect and are unable to recall their past lives, the hard training infused in them during their lives as officers means they are adept at utilizing powerful weapons. It was reported that the Yellow Turban leader Zhang Jiao, in his desperation to overthrow the Imperial Court, forced elixir on his subordinates in order to build an army of fearsome demonized warriors. Some say that they can be restored to human form through contact with a surge of strong Genuine Qi, but the truth of this is unconfirmed.
