Demon Spiders are spiders that have transformed into demons.
During the Han period, spiders were considered the harbingers of good fortune. However, as regions became plagued with Demonic Qi, a number of spiders grew to terrifying sizes. Now, the creature that was once a symbol of fortune has become a deadly predator with long, razor-sharp legs that allow it to move rapidly toward its prey before deploying a web from which there can be no escape. Any poor souls unfortunate enough to be caught by it suffer unimaginable pain and fear as they are slowly devoured.
