Mission Start Text

"With Yuan Shao's demon army marching southwards, commerce in the regions along the Yellow River had all but ceased. With her supply chain cut off, Zhu Xia is having trouble getting ahold of new materials.

Head out to the demon-infested lands in her stead and look for materials. If her claims of being able to forge the ultimate weapon are true, the opportunity is too good to pass up."

Let's Make Our Armor Shine! Shitieshou Locations

There is one Shitieshou Demon in this mission:

• First Shitieshou Demon: after defeating the demon mermaid, Shuigui, and the crocodile demon, Zhupolong, climb up the nearby ladder, head towards the dock area, go straight, climb up the ladder, look to your right, and climb up another ladder. Jump up to reach the higher deck where you'll find a small cabin. The demon is inside.

Let's Make Our Armor Shine! Battle Flag Locations

There are 2 Battle Flags in this mission:

• First Battle Flag: This flag is already raised and it is found at the starting point of the mission. (0 Fortitude)
• Second Battle Flag: guarded by the demon mermaid, Shuigui, and the crocodile demon, Zhupolong. Unmissable since you will have to pass the area where the demon is. It's near the shipwreck. (+3 Fortitude)

Let's Make Our Armor Shine! Marking Flag Locations

There are 5 Marking Flags in this mission:

• First Marking Flag: located on the top deck of the shipwreck, near the open area of the ship that is guarded by a Heishan Officer brute-type enemy. (+1 Fortitude)
• Second Marking Flag:  located on the top deck of the shipwreck, after defeating the Heishan Officer brute-type enemy, go inside the room ahead, unlock the door, climb up the ladder, and unlock the door to head out the upper deck. The Second Marking Flag is on the left side. (+1 Fortitude)
• Third Marking Flag: located on the topmost deck of the shipwreck, after defeating the Heishan Officer brute-type enemy, go inside the room ahead, unlock the door, climb up the ladder, and unlock the door to head out the upper deck. Look to your right, hug the wall, and jump to reach the top. You'll find it by the corner. (+1 Fortitude)
• Fourth Marking Flag: after defeating the demon mermaid, Shuigui, and the crocodile demon, Zhupolong, climb up the nearby ladder, head towards the dock area, go straight, climb up the ladder, and check the large room on the second level of the deck.  (+1 Fortitude)
• Fifth Marking Flag: inside the lower cabin of a ship that is guarded by two Shuigui demons. The ladder that you can climb down is near the female Hermit of Tianzhu. Unmissable since you'll pass this area when you head towards the objective point. (+1 Fortitude)

 

Let's Make Our Armor Shine! Walkthrough

The Shipwreck - First Battle Flag

This sub mission contains 2 Battle Flags and 5 Marking Flags. You start the mission on a shipwreck where you'll see the First Battle Flag that is already raised. Jump down the lower deck, look behind, and head inside to find an item that you can loot. Proceed to the dock area on the right side where a Heishan Soldier is patrolling and grab the item on the platform.

 

Investigate the beachside section since the path on the right is currently locked. Eliminate the soldiers that you encounter here and keep going straight until you reach the dock area where you'll see two soldiers talking. Jump across on the right and keep going straight, you'll encounter more bandits and soldiers along the way.

 

The path here is linear, follow it, and you'll find an open space of the shipwreck and more enemies such as the Heishan Officer brute enemy. Before you proceed to that area, jump to the deck on the right and enter the cabin. A Heishan Bandit will ambush you inside, eliminate the enemy and proceed further, keep going straight and you'll find an item that you can grab, x2 Cup of Cordiality.

First Marking Flag

Look behind and you'll find a ladder, climb to the top deck and go inside the small stock room ahead, there's a small chest inside, while on the left side of the top deck, you'll find the First Marking Flag. Raise the flag to obtain +1 Fortitude. Return to the open area of the shipwreck and defeat the brute officer. After fighting the enemy, go inside the room and you'll find a door that you can open, behind it is a ladder that you can climb.

Second and Third Marking Flags

 

At the top, is a room that contains a chest. Grab the items and then unlock the door so you can head out to the upper deck where you'll find the Second Marking Flag on the left. Raise the flag to obtain +1 Fortitude.

Turn around and go back to the door you just opened, on the left side of it, hug the wall and jump up to reach the third level of the deck. You'll find the Third Marking Flag on the left side corner. Raise the flag to obtain +1 Fortitude. Next to it, there is a small stock room, go inside to find an item you can loot from the ground.

Second Battle Flag - Shuigui and Zhupolong Demon Encounter

From the Marking Flag you just raised, jump down on the left side and head towards the open area where you'll see a roaming mermaid demon, Shuigui. You'll also see that the second and last Battle Flag is located here, but you will need to defeat the demons first. As soon as you jump down, the crocodile demon, Zhupolong, will emerge from the ground. Defeat the enemies, raise the Battle Flag to acquire +3 Fortitude, and grab the loot from the ground.

Fourth Marking Flag

After defeating the demon mermaid, Shuigui, and the crocodile demon, Zhupolong, climb up the nearby ladder, head towards the dock area, go straight, climb up the ladder, and check the large room on the second level of the deck. Raise the Marking Flag to acquire +1 Fortitude. At the back of this room, there's another ladder, climb to the top where you'll encounter more soldiers. Inside another cabin, there's a chest that you can open.

Shitieshou Demon Location

From the same room where you just opened the chest, go outside and look to the left side of the doorway, and jump onto the upper deck to find a small cabin. Go inside to find the Shitieshou Demon.

Hermit of Tianzhu - Fifth Marking Flag

 

Next, go down and head inside the ship where you'll encounter a Heishan Officer brute-type enemy, roaming the area. Defeat the enemy, and once inside, check around the corner of the ship, you'll find a female Hermit of Tianzhu. This is the Concerned Wife who has a questline in the Hidden Village. Speak to her and she'll mention that she's looking for her husband, exhaust her dialogue and she will ask if you could loan her some copper.

 

Loan her the copper and head down to the lower section of the ship, there's a ladder that goes down near the spot where you find the Hermit of Tianzhu. There are 2 Shuigui demons here, so be prepared to fight. Defeat the demons and check the corner to find the last Marking Flag. Raise the flag to acquire +1 Fortitude.

Now, all that's left to do is to defeat the remaining demons at the objective point, exit through the hole in the ship's frame and be ready to fight the demons here such as the mermaid demon, Shuigui, and the boar-dragon demon, Leishi. Defeating it completes this sub mission.
