Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Sun Quan Lore Information
Sun Quan, courtesy name Zhongmou, was a warrior and politician hailing from Fuchun County of Wu Commandery and the second eldest son of Sun Jian. He lived with his mother and brothers in liujiang Commandery when his father fought against the Yellow Turbans. Years later, he settled in Lujiang at the behest of Zhou Yu, an influential man from the area. He dedicated himself to his studies, awaiting his father to summon him. Just like his father and brothers, he can manipulate powerful Qi thanks to his Sun heritage. Always calm and collected, Sun Quan has a modest personality compared to his valiant brother and father, but excels in many areas, including mounted archery, fencing, calligraphy, and elocution.
Amid the chaos caused by Dong Zhuo, Sun Quan heeded his father's orders and joined the attack on Xiangyang. There he met and befriended the protagonist. Upon learning that his father had infiltrated the keep alone, Sun Quan followed him along with his brother Sun Ce and the protagonist. Upon arriving at the scene, they found before them Sun Jian, forcibly transformed into a demon by a black-clad Taoist, and his sister-in-law Da Qiao fleeing in horror. They let Da Qiao escape to safety before squaring off against the abomination that once was their father. Deeply moved by the protagonist's bravery in defeating Sun Jian, he and his brother swore an oath with him. Sun Jian, now back to his human form, entrusted the future of the Sun lineage to his sons. Sun Quan vowed to avenge his father and aid his brother with all his strength.
Following Sun Jian's death, Sun Ce succeeded his father and swept across the Jiangdong region at a great pace, with Sun Quan also contributing to his accomplishments. While expanding his influence, Sun Quan sided with his brother in search for Yu Ji, the black-clad Taoist responsible for their father's death. The brothers eventually came to learn that Yu Ji was collaborating with Yuan Shao. Taking advantage of the battle between Yuan Shao and Cao Cao, they infiltrate Yu Ji's refuge in Guandu, but Sun Ce was caught off guard by Yu Ji, who had been disguised as his younger brother. After Sun Quan felt the warmth of life leave his brother's body in his arms, Yu Ji persuaded him to join him. However, in Sun Quan's eyes burned the same fire as his brother and father. After the conclusion of the Battle of Guandu, Sun Quan returned to Jiangdong to ready himself for Cao Cao's expedition to the south through training, alongside his late brother's friend, Zhou Yu. It was a newfound resolution of a man entrusted by his brother and father to cleave a way for the future of the Sun Clan.
