Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Han Dang Lore Information
Han Dang, courtesy name Yigong, is a warrior hailing from Lingzhi County of Liaoxi Commandery, You Province.
As a skilled mounted archer possessing uncanny strength, he was headhunted by Sun Jian to serve in his army. In battle, he would always fight in the vanguard, paying little heed to danger, and put many bandits to the sword this way. Sun Jian made note of this bravery and appointed him as major of his own unit. He continued to work as one of the Sun clan's top brass and served alongside Cheng Pu and Huang Gai to support their lord and strengthen his hold in Wu. While his exploits lacked the storytelling potential of his comrades, he was deeply trusted by his lords for his strict adherence to proper military conduct and chain of command.
Under Sun Jian, he took part in the campaign against Dong Zhuo. After Dong Zhuo fled from Luoyang, he stayed in the ruined city to manage affairs after the conflict while Sun Jian rushed off to Xiangyang. After learning of Sun Jian's tragic death in Xiangyang, Han Dang, Cheng Pu, and Huang Gai entreated the protagonist to duel with them in order to hone their skills, so that they might better serve Sun Jian's successor, Sun Ce. Through their fight with the protagonist, the three were able to overcome Sun Jian's passing and went on to play a huge role in Sun Ce's rise to power in Jiangdong. Even as leadership was passed down to Sun Quan, Han Dang remained vigilant as ever, assisting in the establishment of Wu.
