Podao is one of the Curved Sabres available in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Podao is a bulky and broad weapon classified as a curved sabre. Its low maintenance requirements mean it is treasured by the brigands of the fields and mountains. Curved Sabres share similar speed and combo styles with the other one-handed bladed weapons albeit being slightly better at handling multiple combatants. Curved Sabres trade forward reach for slightly more horizontal range with sweeping slashes and typically wide-hitting Martial Arts skills.

The steel of its blade was stripped from farming tools, so it has a thick shape to ensure it doesn't break. The wielder must hack away at their enemy as it is too dull to slice through much. It is nonetheless a valuable weapon for poor folk living in a turbulent era.
