Bursting Fireball is one of the Wizardry Spells in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Wizardry Spells are active skills with elemental properties tied to the Five Phases philosophy. These abilities can be cast when the required conditions are met and each Spell has varying effects. Bursting Fireball belongs to the Fire Phase Spells category which utilize Flame as their main element and can counteract the spells and effects of the Metal Phase, but are overcome by the Water Phase. It is an Offensive Spell that can hit multiple opponents or a single opponent multiple times.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Bursting Fireball Spell Information
- Toss a fireball towards a target which will split into multiple exploding projectiles on impact or after reaching its max distance. Explosions deal very heavy damage.
- Base Damage & Status Accumulation scales with the Fire Virtue.
- Explosions have a moderately large blast radius and can hit multiple opponents.
- Explosions have very high stagger power and can completely shutdown basic enemies, while effectively disrupting more powerful and larger foes.
- Initial fireball has limited vertical flight but the explosions themselves tend have a more vertical effect zone than the initial fireball's impact, allowing the spell to hit elevated enemies even if the initial fireball does not hit them directly.
- Can be cast to cancel out projectiles of the Metal Phase variety but is not very ideal for this purpose due to the initial fireball's small hitbox and curved trajectory.
