Thorny Ground is one of the Wizardry Spells in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Wizardry Spells are active skills with elemental properties tied to the Five Phases philosophy. These abilities can be cast when the required conditions are met and each Spell has varying effects. Thorny Ground belongs to the Metal Phase Spells category which utilize Toxin as their main element and can counteract the spells and effects of the Wood Phase, but are overcome by the Fire Phase. It is an offensive spell.

- Summons five sets of thorns directly in front of the caster.
- Each one of the set of thorns deals damage separately, meaning that an enemy may impact all of them and suffer damage from all five.
- Useful in combination with damage over time spells.
- Prerequisite: Poison Corrosion
