Bamboo Crossbow is one of the Crossbows available in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Bamboo Crossbow is a simple crossbow with a bronze mechanism widely used in the Later Han Empire, notably by the private armies of the most powerful families. Crossbows are heavy ballistic weapons that deal much higher damage than Bows, allowing you to dispatch some of the tougher opponents with a single shot. In exchange for their high damage, Crossbows are cumbersome to use and require the wielder to remain firmly planted on the ground before firing, disallowing movement while aiming.

It is slow to reload but makes up for this with formidable power from even a single bolt. It saw widespread use in the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, and in Qin it was mass- produced and became standard equipment. As it can be fired casually even by a peasant, those who take pride in their martial abilities look down upon it.
