Crossbows are a type of Ranged Weapon in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Crossbows are heavy ballistic weapons that deal much higher damage than Bows, allowing you to dispatch some of the tougher opponents with a single shot. In exchange for their high damage, Crossbows are cumbersome to use and require the wielder to remain firmly planted on the ground before firing, disallowing movement while aiming. They also have a slower reload time, leaving you open to retaliation from enemy archers. Ranged Weapons serve as a secondary means of dealing damage to Enemies and Bosses in combat, allowing players to take weaker enemies out from a safe distance and break up large groups before they become aware of your presence. Ranged Weapons can be aimed for precise hits and can target enemy weakspots to deal much higher damage.
