Glaives are a type of Melee Weapon in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Glaives are excellent at fending off multiple opponents at a time but beware when fighting speedier combatants as you leave a lot of openings between attacks and your recovery time is longer than with other weapons. Melee Weapons are the most prominent of all Weapons used to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses in combat. Each Weapon type has its own set of moves and combos, Martial Arts skills and distinct fighting style. Glaives are medium range weapons with superior reach among Melee Weapons. Their moveset is comprised of slow but deliberate strikes in wide, sweeping arcs.

I don't understand why they're so slow like wouldn't spears be better than glaives because speed and reach? Honestly I like glaives but a bit disappointed with them rn in this.
