It lowers Flame Resistance and gradually reduces both HP and Spirit. Status Effects are various buffs or ailments that apply either a beneficial or detrimental effect to the target. Status Effects can be applied on both Enemies, Bosses, and players alike. Status Effects are triggered after a buildup meter is filled by repeated application of attacks that cause the effect. Man this game makes poison seem so complicated. All the metal phase spells deal with instant on contact dmg. Except for toxic weapon. Which is the only spell that I assume deals with accumulation of a poison meter. So this all kind of seems lacking for poison if this only improves 1 spell out of all the poison spells. Unless all the spells deal a set amount of poison accumulation but I havent seen any enemies im hitting with toxic bogs get the poison status yet before I kill them. Nor bosses. And I don't use the toxic weapon much either. So far this all seems lacking. And no where on reddit or anything does anyone have answers to explain. Smh
