Lion's Roar is one of the Wizardry Spells in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Wizardry Spells are active skills with elemental properties tied to the Five Phases philosophy. These abilities can be cast when the required conditions are met and each Spell has varying effects. Lion's Roar belongs to the Earth Phase Spells category which utilize Stone as their main element and can counteract the spells and effects of the Water Phase, but are overcome by the Wood Phase. It is a Defensive Spell that taunts multiple opponents.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Lion's Roar Spell Information
- Shout to release a shockwave in a medium radius all around you, forcing all enemies hit to target you, drawing the attention away from allies. Also improves your defenses for a certain period.
- Improved Defense Base Duration ~20 secs.
- A "taunt" ability that allows for effective tanking in multiplayer sessions or to draw aggro away from offensive NPC companions.
- Can be cast to remove Water Phase negative effects and their buildup on self and allies within the cast radius.
- Cancelled and restricted by Wood Phase attacks (Lightning) and their effects.
- Long Cast Animation.
- Very high base Spirit Cost.
- Prerequisite: Force Blow

Highlight of this spell for me was invading the water level and making a host who was running away drown because I snapped his camera 180 degrees towards the end of the bridge.
