Classes for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty were a mechanic present in the demo to determine the beginning stats of the player, as well as the Weapons they begin with. Playeres were able to choose one of the 5 Wo Long classes when in Character Creation, and the class chosen provided a certain Weapon and 10 points into one of the 5 Phases. Classes in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty have been removed from the final game. Players DON'T have to choose a class when starting a new game. Instead, the new and flexible system the final version possesses, allows players to spend points as they level up in any of the Five Phases as they see fit.
Regardless, players can respec their spent points once Zuo Ci has been unlocked, at a certain point of the game. Allowing experimentation and the creation of diverse Builds.

Wo Long Classes: What is the best Phase in Fallen Dynasty?

As of the 2022 September Demo, the best class is most likely the Wood phase. The Wood phase specializes in increasing your HP, Spirit Defense and Spell Duration. HP is always essential in games like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and Spirit Defense allows you to take more Spirit damage without getting stunned, which is perfect for beginners who need to learn Deflect and Enemy Critical Blow timings.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Classes Starting Equipment

In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, each phase starts with a different signature Divine Beast, Martial ArtWeapon as well as 3 unique pieces of Armor. Each weapon has a different attack combo as well as a different Martial Arts skill. Armor for each of the phases provides DefenseSpirit Defense and Physical Resistance.
